Being one of the most famous models on the planet comes with its own stresses. Can you imagine what it must feel like being backstage in the Victoria’s Secret changing room minutes before hitting the runway knowing around 7 million people will be watching? This Brazilian beauty has been using CBD on a daily basis for years to calm her nerves and ease anxiety. Here’s what she says about it: “The most important thing to do is to sleep eight hours the night before. It is hard because my mind gets so anxious, so I try CBD oil just before sleeping and drink CBD infused water throughout the day to keep calm and I think it helps.”

This infamous American personality has not been shy about her love for CBD, frequently recommending her favourite products on her Instagram story for over 187 million people to see. As she told E! last year, “anyone who knows me knows I am obsessed with CBD everything!”. Kim has been very public about her autoimmune issues and she explains that she’s been a huge fan of taking CBD since she started feeling overwhelmed between starting law school, having a fourth baby and her health issues. She even hosted a CBD themed baby shower for her latest baby, Psalm, and says she loves to take CBD gummies at night to fall asleep.

Gwyneth is often credited with popularising CBD in Hollywood and within the beauty and wellness industries, thanks to featuring the ingredient through lifestyle brand, Goop, where she regularly share tips on how to use CBD through cooking, but she also hosted a health conference in LA spotlighting the future of CBD at one of the main keynote sessions. On stage she said “It really has the potential to shift old patterns of thought and change lives, and I feel like we really could be on the precipice of something a lot bigger than we realise, scientifically”. The panelists discussed the serious medical benefits of cannabis and CBD for children who suffer from seizures and people dependent on prescription drugs with major side effects looking for a more natural cure. Rumour has it she’ll soon be developing her own Goop CBD products!

A household icon to millions across the globe spanning many generations, Martha is an avid advocate for CBD. In 2019, after an introduction by her good friend Snoop Dogg, Martha joined forces with Canopy Growth to produce her own hemp-based CBD products. They are developing a line of products for pets, cosmetics and food usage. Her biggest interest however is how CBD can relate to the aging population. Speaking to Forbes, Martha recently said: “Not because I am old, but we are all looking for new ways to improve on our everyday living, and I, in particular am very dedicated to exploring how CBD can positively impact us through The Martha Stewart Centre For Living. By 2029, more than half of the U.S. population will be over 65 years old. If CBD can offer an alternative to other kinds of medicines - wow, how great will that be?”

Canadian actor and comedian Seth Rogan has become a huge advocate for the medicinal use of marijuana and even challenged leaders around the existing CBD law at the United States Congress in 2014. He argued that there needs to be more federal funding for care and research into Alzheimer’s disease and that a significant budget should be allocated towards funding the research into the health benefits CBD could bring.
Like many celebrities these days, he is also starting his own venture into the hemp world called Houseplant and apart from integrating CBD oil into his life daily, he has been known to enjoy CBD facemasks to keep up with the Hollywood glow.
